Set up Meet Alto MCP in Claude Code using OAuth.

Preserve my existing settings, connections, permissions, and tool approvals. Reuse an existing meet-alto entry; ask before replacing a URL for another environment.

For a new connection, run:

claude mcp add --transport http --scope user meet-alto 'https://app.meetalto.ai/mcp'

Then guide me to open /mcp in Claude Code, select Meet Alto, and sign in. Let me choose my workspace and approve access in my browser.

Stop if authorization fails or is declined. After connecting, verify by reading my workspace name using the Meet Alto MCP tools. Do not change any workspace data or settings.

A real question doesn’t get buried.

Alto reads new comments on your videos and photo posts and picks out the ones that need an answer, so “do you ship to Canada?” doesn’t get lost under the fire emoji.

Alto drafts the answer in your voice.

It looks at the video’s caption and cover, the comments around it and what you’ve taught it, from your website to your Shopify catalog. Then it writes a reply that sounds like you.

TikTok automation FAQs

Have something else in mind?
Talk to the Alto team.

What can I automate on TikTok?

Alto answers TikTok DMs with keyword replies and an AI agent, and looks after your comments: it drafts replies for you to approve and hides spam. You can reply yourself anytime, from the same inbox as your other channels. Follow-up sequences aren’t available on TikTok.

Do I need a TikTok Business Account?

Yes. Alto works with TikTok Business Accounts, not personal or Creator accounts. Switching is free in the TikTok app’s settings.

Can Alto DM people who comment on my TikTok?

No, not on TikTok. Alto replies under the comment instead. To bring someone into your DMs, ask them to message you a keyword like GLAZE, and Alto takes it from there.

Does Alto reply to TikTok comments on its own?

No. Alto drafts every comment reply and waits for your OK, so you can edit it, send it as is or write your own. DMs work differently: your keyword replies and AI agent answer on their own, and you can step in anytime.

Is TikTok DM automation available everywhere?

TikTok doesn’t offer business messaging for accounts in the European Union, the UK or Switzerland, so DM automation isn’t available there. Elsewhere, Alto only messages people who message you first.

How does TikTok comment moderation work?

Pick what Alto should hide, such as spam, scams, links, phone numbers, profanity or certain keywords, or describe it in your own words. Matching comments are hidden, never deleted, and if you unhide one, Alto leaves it alone.

Can Alto share products, codes and booking links in TikTok DMs?

Yes. With Shopify connected, the AI agent recommends products, shares approved discount codes and checks order status, and it can book calls through Calendly or Cal.com. On TikTok, links arrive as plain text rather than buttons. Alto doesn’t connect to TikTok Shop or TikTok ads.

Is TikTok automation safe for my account?

Alto connects through TikTok’s official login, so you never share your password. It only messages people who messaged you first, follows TikTok’s messaging limits, and keeps comment replies varied so they don’t look like spam.

Can my team take over a TikTok chat?

Yes. Pause Alto in any conversation and reply yourself, or let the agent hand it to your team with a summary. If you reply from the TikTok app, Alto steps back too.

Can I start for free?

Alto’s Free plan covers Instagram and Facebook, so TikTok needs a paid plan. Pro includes the AI agent, AI comment drafts and moderation. UNLIMITED connects TikTok for keyword DMs and replying yourself, without AI.
