Terms of Service

Welcome to Meet Alto AI, operated by BTMK Holdings LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, connecting a social media account, or otherwise using Meet Alto AI, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms, and "you" refers to that entity.

2. Service Description

Meet Alto AI provides tools for Facebook Page and Instagram Business Account administrators, including:


• Viewing, analyzing, and moderating comments and direct messages

• Automation features that trigger actions based on user interactions on your Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts, including but not limited to: post comments, keyword mentions, post reactions, incoming direct messages, story replies, account mentions, and new follower events

• Automated direct messages sent in response to the above triggers (comment-to-DM, story-to-DM, mention-to-DM, new follower DMs, and more)

• Automated replies to post comments

• Automated replies to incoming direct messages

• Centralized inbox management and response tools

• Audience contact collection: Collecting email addresses and usernames voluntarily provided by your followers through automation flows

• Exporting collected contact data from your dashboard

• Analytics and dashboards to support moderation and automation workflows

Additional features may be added, modified, or removed over time. All features operate through Meta's official Graph API in compliance with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies.

3. Meta Platform Compliance

3.1 Your Obligations

Your use of the Service in connection with Facebook and Instagram is subject to Meta's Platform Terms, Terms of Service, and Community Guidelines. You must comply with all applicable Meta policies at all times. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of Meet Alto AI's features — including automation flows and contact collection campaigns — complies with Meta's rules.

3.2 Account Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Meet Alto AI is NOT responsible for any action taken by Meta or Instagram against your account as a result of your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

• Temporary or permanent account restrictions, suspensions, or bans

• Reduced reach, shadowbanning, or content removal

• Loss of access to features (monetization, live, etc.)

• API access revocation

You use the automation and messaging features at your own risk. We recommend reviewing Meta's policies on automated messaging, comment interactions, and data collection before configuring your campaigns.

3.3 Account Connection

By connecting your Facebook Page or Instagram Business Account to the Service, you grant Meet Alto AI permission to access, process, and act on your behalf through the Meta API to the extent of the permissions you authorize. You may revoke access at any time through Meta's settings or your Meet Alto AI dashboard.

4. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account and keep it updated.

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

• One person or entity may not create multiple free accounts.

• You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

• You must not share access to your account with others.

• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach at hey@meetalto.ai.

5. Automation Features and Contact Collection

5.1 Automation Features

The Service allows you to configure automated actions triggered by user interactions on your Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts. Supported triggers include but are not limited to: post comments, keyword mentions, post reactions, incoming direct messages, story replies, account mentions, and new follower events. Resulting automated actions include but are not limited to: sending direct messages (comment-to-DM, story-to-DM, mention-to-DM, new follower DMs), replying to post comments, and replying to incoming direct messages.

You are solely responsible for the content of all automated messages and replies sent through your account, and for ensuring they comply with applicable law and Meta's policies.

5.2 Contact Collection

The Service allows you to collect email addresses and usernames voluntarily submitted by your followers through DM automation flows. By using this feature, you represent and warrant that:

• You have obtained valid, explicit, and informed consent from each individual before collecting their personal data, as required by applicable laws including GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM, CASL, and any other laws applicable to your audience and jurisdiction.

• You have informed those individuals that their data will be collected, stored, and processed, including through third-party platforms.

• You will use collected contact data only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable marketing, anti-spam, and data protection laws.

• You will honor all data subject requests (access, deletion, correction, portability) for data you have collected through the platform.

• You will not collect sensitive personal data (such as health, financial, or government ID information) through the platform without appropriate safeguards and legal basis.

5.3 Data Export

You may export collected contact data (emails and usernames) from your Meet Alto AI dashboard at any time. Once exported, you are solely responsible for how that data is stored, used, and protected. Exported data must be handled in compliance with all applicable data protection and marketing laws.

5.4 Our Role

With respect to Subscriber Data (contact data collected through your automation campaigns), Meet Alto AI acts solely as a data processor on your behalf. We process this data only as directed by you and do not use it for our own purposes. You are the data controller. The obligations and protections outlined in our Privacy Policy apply to how we store and secure this data on your behalf.


6. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for all activity under your account. You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Send spam, unsolicited messages, or harass users

• Engage in or promote illegal activities, fraud, or deceptive practices

• Violate any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights

• Send content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or discriminatory

• Artificially inflate engagement metrics or circumvent Meta's rate limits

• Collect personal data from individuals without their consent

• Collect sensitive personal data without appropriate legal basis and safeguards

• Use exported contact data in violation of anti-spam laws or applicable marketing regulations

• Impersonate any person or entity

• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts

• Use the Service for any purpose that violates Meta's Platform Terms or Community Guidelines

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that exhibit spam-like behavior, send excessive automated messages, attempt to circumvent platform rate limits, or otherwise violate these Terms.


7. Data and Privacy

• We protect your data and Subscriber Data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

• You retain ownership of your content and the contact data you collect through the platform.

• We act as a data processor for Subscriber Data; you are the data controller.

• We may collect usage data to improve our service, but we do not sell your personal information or Subscriber Data.

• You are responsible for your compliance with all applicable data protection laws in your use of the Service.


8. Subscription and Payments

• Fees are charged based on your selected plan as posted on our website.

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store complete credit card information.

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled before renewal.

• We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. You will have the opportunity to cancel before new pricing takes effect.

• Payments are generally non-refundable unless required by law. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, contact us at hey@meetalto.ai within 14 days of the charge.

• You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

• Failed payments may result in account downgrade or suspension if not resolved within 14 days.


9. Service Availability

• We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

• We may perform maintenance with advance notice where reasonably practicable.

• We are not liable for service interruptions, including those caused by Meta API downtime or changes.

• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice.


10. Intellectual Property

• Meet Alto AI and BTMK Holdings LLC retain all rights to the platform, software, technology, trademarks, logos, and documentation.

• You retain rights to your content and the Subscriber Data you collect through the platform.

• You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process your content and Subscriber Data solely to provide the Service.

• You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the Service without our written permission.


11. Termination

• You can terminate your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, exhibit abusive behavior, or fail to pay.

• Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. We will delete your account data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.

• You can export your Subscriber Data at any time before account deletion. We recommend doing so before closing your account.

• Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification.


12. Limitation of Liability

  • Service is provided "as is"

  • We are not liable for indirect damages

  • Our liability is limited to the amount paid

  • We do not guarantee third-party integrations

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BTMK Holdings LLC, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use or misuse of the Service

• Your violation of these Terms

• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation, including data protection and anti-spam laws

• Your automation campaigns, the content of messages you send, and the contact data you collect through the platform

• Any claim that your content or data collection practices caused damage to a third party

• Your violation of Meta's Platform Terms or any third-party rights

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Terms and revise the "Last Updated" date. For material changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in English. Nothing herein prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
