OpenClaw MCP server for Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp

Connect your personal OpenClaw to Alto, then ask it to set up a sign-up campaign for your next retreat, find who’s ready to book, or see how this week’s posts did. Ask from your terminal or the chat apps you already use with OpenClaw.

Add Meet Alto to OpenClaw. On your own OpenClaw.

  1. Paste the setup prompt into OpenClaw, or run the add and login commands yourself.
  2. Open the sign-in link, pick your workspace and approve.
  3. Run the doctor check, then ask OpenClaw which workspace it’s connected to.

Use your personal OpenClaw. A shared gateway shares one sign-in with everyone unless your admin sets up individual sign-in.

Meet Alto for OpenClaw

Paste a setup prompt into your personal OpenClaw

Paste into OpenClaw
Connect Meet Alto to my OpenClaw.
First check that this is my personal instance. If it’s a shared gateway, stop and tell me, because my admin needs to set up individual sign-in.
If meet-alto isn’t set up yet, run:
openclaw mcp add meet-alto --url 'https://app.meetalto.ai/mcp' --transport streamable-http --auth oauth --oauth-scope 'accounts:connect accounts:read accounts:write agents:publish agents:read agents:simulate agents:write ai:generate analytics:read campaigns:publish campaigns:read campaigns:write contacts:read contacts:write handoffs:read handoffs:write inbox:read inbox:write knowledge:read knowledge:write operations:read sequences:publish sequences:read sequences:write settings:read settings:write team:read user:org:read workspace:read workspace:write offline_access'
Then run:
openclaw mcp login meet-alto
I’ll pick my workspace and approve access in the browser. Stop if sign-in fails. After that, run:
openclaw mcp doctor meet-alto --probe
Then read my Meet Alto workspace name and tell me what it is. If the tools haven’t loaded yet, tell me to start a new session. Don’t change anything in my workspace yet.

Then askWhich Alto workspace are you connected to?

Then just ask OpenClaw. From the terminal or your chat apps.

Check in with people who got the dates

Ask OpenClaw to follow up when someone goes quiet. It writes two check-ins for the RETREAT campaign and saves them as a draft for you to publish.

You stay in control. OpenClaw drafts. You decide what goes live.

  • One workspace, your permissions

Each connection works in the workspace you chose when you signed in, within your role and your plan.

  • Drafts first

New campaigns are saved as drafts. Turning one on is a separate step you ask for.

  • Your app can ask first

Keep tool approvals on in your AI app to see each action before it runs.

  • Disconnect any time

Remove access in Settings → Integrations → Manage MCP. Your social accounts stay connected.

OpenClaw MCP FAQs

Have something else in mind?
Talk to the Alto team.

Can OpenClaw automate Instagram DMs?

Through Alto, yes. OpenClaw sets up your campaigns and your AI sales agent in Alto, and Alto sends the messages through Instagram’s official API.

How do I add an MCP server to OpenClaw?

Run openclaw mcp add with the Meet Alto URL and OAuth sign-in, then openclaw mcp login meet-alto. The setup prompt on this page runs both and checks the connection.

Do I need an API key?

No. You sign in to Alto in your browser and approve access. If the browser is on another machine, pass the code it gives you back with openclaw mcp login meet-alto --code.

Can I ask from WhatsApp or Telegram?

Yes. OpenClaw answers in the chat apps you connect to it, like WhatsApp, Telegram and Slack, and it can use Meet Alto there. Anyone who can message your OpenClaw can use it too, so keep it to yourself.

Can I use a shared gateway?

A shared gateway uses one Alto sign-in for everyone on it, so connect your personal OpenClaw instead. If your team shares one, ask your admin to set up individual sign-in.

Is it included in my Alto plan?

Yes. Every Alto plan includes MCP access, Free too. OpenClaw can do what your plan includes, so AI sales agents, follow-ups and the Social CRM need Pro.

How do I disconnect?

Disconnect OpenClaw in Alto under Settings → Integrations → Manage MCP, then run openclaw mcp logout meet-alto and openclaw mcp unset meet-alto. Your social accounts stay connected.
